Quartets

The heart of the barbershop style is the quartet - one singer on each part, locking chords and moving audiences with just the power of four performers!  A healthy quartet culture in a chorus helps to strengthen everyone involved and add diversity to a rehearsal or performance.  Whether you're looking for a small group for your next event, or just want to find out more, the Barbershop Harmony Society has a rich tradition of great foursomes and our guys are no exception!

Meet our chapter quartets:

 Children of the Chord

Children of the Chord have been together just over three years, and sing an array of different styles from classic barbershop to contemporary swing-style songs. Jordan (tenor), Sagan (lead), Armando (baritone), and Antonio (bass) are an eclectic group of singers that range in age from a college first year student to the "old man" of the quartet at 31 - they're also all on the HC Music Team!  Great friends and active performers, Children of the Chord have been seen at SAYacaFEST, Lakeside A cappella Camp, SLD conventions, community events, and even featured on News Channel 9.  Check them out on Facebook to find out more or contact them at cotcquartet@gmail.com to book them for your next event!

One Eleven

The guys of One Eleven all met singing together in high school and fell in love with the barbershop sound!  Passionate about preserving the art form, One Eleven is a very active Youth Quartet (all under the age of 26) who also all serve on the HC Music Team.  Whether they're tagging until all hours of the night or holding you on the edge of your seat as they croon a classic ballad, these guys are really something special.  Nick (tenor), Jon (lead), Thomas (baritone), and Adam (bass) are a unique blend of two Syracuse University music majors, an RIT computer wiz, and a high school junior who knows more about barbershop than anyone alive.  Check them out on Facebook to find out more or to book them for your next event!

All In

2018 International-Orlando (1).jpg

All In is an award-winning a cappella quartet singing primarily in the Barbershop style. Competing in the Seneca Land District (SLD) of the Barbershop Harmony Society, Evan (tenor), Brian (lead), Don (baritone), and Joel (bass) came together in July 2014 as All In, and quickly won the Seneca Land Novice contest that fall. They added new hardware to their trophy case by taking home the SLD Championship in the fall of 2017 and served as the 2018 SLD representative to the International Convention and Contest in Orlando, FL. If you’d like to contact them, send an email to allinquartet@gmail.com and have them for your next event!

We’re also proud to welcome three brand new quartets - Studio Time, Full Send, and Positive Charge into our mix! Stay tuned for more updates about these exciting new quartets!
